Does your child play video games?
When most adults think about exercise, they imagine working out in the gym on a treadmill or lifting weights.
But for kids, exercise means playing and being physically active. Kids exercise when they have gym class at school, soccer practice, or dance class. They’re also exercising when they’re at recess, riding bikes, or playing tag. Unfortunately now a days those activities are hard to come by when there is so much technology such as ipods and video games instead.
Here at The Training Floor we have created a bootcamp class just for your kids.
An hour devoted to them on saturday afternoon from 11-12pm.
Within this hour we may play a fitness simon says, we may run some ladder drills to improve coordination, we may do word searches to learn more about nutrition and fitness and then do the exercises found! The most important thing that we do and the reason why we offer this class is that we have FUN while being fit.
Do you have a child that may be interested in class? Do you know of a child that could use a good workout but also learn that being active can do enjoyable?
