Portion control is the most effective tactic for losing weight, especially when you have low satiety. Once you learn correct portions, you can enjoy any food without gaining weight.
To become a portion control expert, this week:

Choose one day and measure out everything you eat and drink. Use measuring spoons and cups (or a food scale for the highly ambitious).

Eat 1/2 your regular portion. Fill the rest of your plate with filler foods, such as fresh vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins.

Pre-portion out snacks into small bags or containers to prevent unintentional overeating.
